Harvest Workers Coop ran another of their popular Family Fireside sessions recently. This time celebrating apples with storytelling and song, creativity with natural materials and apple pressing! 14 families gathered and in the image above are sharing the apple and quince crumble and juice that they had prepared and pressed. They also gave back to the space by doing some gardening and gathering!
We asked “What makes the EcoHub work as a venue for these workshops?” and have had some lovely comments.
We love the EcoHub! It’s spacious inside and outside areas give everyone space to engage without feeling too busy.
The fact you can very easily be some outside and some inside, the natural and beautiful materials the venue is made from, it’s very easy for us to get to and the facilities feel communal and inclusive.
